Katie Tijerina, pronounced “tee-her-eena” was raised in McKinney, Texas. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2012, Katie came back to Dallas, starting her career in customer service and account management for an international software company. In 2014, at the age of 23, Katie left the comfort of her corporate career and made the leap into real estate.
“I love all that the Dallas and surrounding areas have to offer, and knew I could sell this city and metroplex with a genuine passion. Being that I’ve lived here for over two decades, I’m confident I am one of Dallas’ biggest cheerleaders, and have no desire to live anywhere else.”
Within her real estate career, Katie continues to step outside her comfort zone and serve clients in projects big and small, eager to take on a challenge and willing to put in the hours to get it done. Katie is a seasoned Realtor, with rookie motivation. She understands the key to longevity in this business is to remain eager and willing to learn; complacency is the enemy.
“I’m a firm believer that Realtors have a unique opportunity to serve people during an exciting, and sometimes stressful time in their lives while buying and selling real estate. For most, real estate will be their single largest investment in their lifetime. It’s crucial that we make the process easier for our clients, whether it’s their first time to purchase real estate, or they’re a seasoned real estate investor. Exceeding client and colleague expectations are a non-negotiable for me.”
